Our People


Kate Beales devises and delivers training programmes to help organisations meet pressing challenges. Her corporate clients include Price Waterhouse Cooper, McKinsey, Boots, and Top Shop. In the public sector, Kate has also created work for the Department of Education, The Church of England and the East London Business Alliance.

Kate is a qualified mediator, and is currently completing an MSc in Conflict Resolution and Mediation Studies at the University of London and the Institute of Family Therapy.

Kate began her career in theatre. She has directed productions for the Royal National Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse and The English Shakespeare Company, among many others. She also creates education and training programmes for The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal National Theatre, The National Theatre of Germany and Setagaya Theatre in Tokyo. Kate is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and lectures at New York University's London Programme.


Kate uses the skills she developed as a theatre director to coach people to improve their presentation and personal impact skills.


Kate helps leaders develop the soft skills they require to express themselves effectively and promote effective working relationships. Her work is designed to improve listening skills, empathy and emotional intelligence.


Kate has developed a wide rang of tools designed to optimise team performance. This includes Grapple TM, a unique team coaching process to remove obstacles to successful collaborative working. She also helps teams explore collective solutions to difficult issues and conflicts.
